DENISE PEARSON, BS
Denise Pearson is a native of Rockford, Illinois. She is currently a Community Health Coordinator with Healthcare Service Corporation. Previously Denise worked as a Medical Assistant at Mercy Health and a Public Service Representative at Rockford Park District. She has an Associate of Applied Science from Robert Morris University and a Bachelor of Science in Management Studies from Rockford University.

With a passion for championing, Denise has years of advocacy experience in healthcare and education. She volunteers as a Board Member for Rockford Public Schools District 205, Rockford Health Literacy, and New Zion Baptist Church. Denise is also passionate about advocating for marginalized individuals and being a voice for the voiceless. She has also served internationally as a medical and evangelistic missionary.
As a result of her passion for advocacy, Denise has spoken on behalf of students, teachers, and school administrators in public education and healthcare institutions, as well as community members affected by the decisions made within these institutions. She has committed to the community to continue advocating while teaching others to become effective advocates for themselves, their families, and their communities.
